Cosmopolitan Cities

When you go to a big city like New York, Chicago, or Los Angeles, you will not fail to notice their modernistic steel buildings.

Style and look-wise, the steel buildings are sleek and simple, yet functional. There is nothing really ornate—just sheer function and durability, too. But it terms of minimalism, these are perfect because in today’s crowded society, you need to make the most of whatever little space you have.

With the modern steel buildings, the construction is cost-efficient and the maintenance is almost non-existent. Plus the floor area is maximized to the minimum. Such things are now common place in cosmopolitan cities.

My husband is such a sports fanatic that he will watch any sport that is shown on TV. I thought he might lose interest at some point in our lives, but I was completely wrong about that. Good thing I was able to get a satellite TV package with a great dish sports selection. When we first got married I used to get annoyed at him for spending so much time in front of the TV, but now that it’s been 20 years, I find it a blessing. We really do appreciate the time we spend together, and I also get to spend a lot of time doing things that I want to do. Sometimes I wonder if our marriage would have survived if we were one of those joined at the hip couples who do everything together. I know every relationship is different but I am glad we aren’t like that. I think if we were we would have managed to drive each other completely insane by this point. In the end I realize I married a good man with a slight sports obsession. It’s not perfect, but it works for us.

While everyone is busy for the holidays, we should really take time to relax and unwind so that we will not be too haggard as we face the New Year.

If you are into fitness, you should get squeeze some time to exercise because it will stretch muscles and even rest your mind.

It would really be nice if you are into yoga. You do not have to go to the gym but rather you can just open your mat, get your yoga block, and spend maybe 20 minutes each day for your personal space. You can use this to pray, meditate, and just be refreshed for the many responsibilities ahead.
