Out for Window Shopping!

What do you usually window shop for?

As a mom, I usually go to the children’s department and see what I can buy for the kids whenever I would have money. At least I would have an idea about prices, sizes and styles. Of course I also fit shoes and clothes for myself if I have the luxury of time.

Hubby, on the other hand, would love to go and check out on parkwood acoustic guitars at the music store. I guess musicians really do not get tired of going into music stores—but I don’t mind. I am just happy that he has something to be very passionate about.

Investing in Gold

With the fluctuating dollar rates, people are looking for an investment that whose value would appreciate over the years. Some people find buying jewelry to be very wise, as they can sell it at a much bigger price after years of keeping them. Some people would have the capacity to buy land, which is even a much wiser investment.

Who would expect that some areas in our city which were so desolated before would be filled with malls and housing subdivisions these days? The land owners must have gained a fortune from selling those lands. It would be great to buy gold coins because we all know that the value of gold would increase over time.

I absolutely LOVE living in Austin, Texas. I would challenge anyone to find a better city to live in. I argue that there is more culture in Austin than in much of the rest of Texas combined. It’s such a different town than most people think of when they think about Texas. The music scene is second to none, there are more excellent restaurants than you could ever want, and the night life is tremendous. Add a great university to the mix, and you’ve got a winning recipe for a town. Another great thing about living in Austin is that I have the opportunity to select my energy providers based on which is the most affordable option. Many states don’t afford their residents the same luxury; the cost savings can be fairly significant. I encourage every new Austin resident to shop electricity rates Texas to see if they could save money too. I’m kind of like a welcome committee, come to think of it. I also encourage them to visit my favorite restaurants and bars, obviously. Most of the time I accompany them to those.
